Ian and Christine Blackshaw have lived abroad for many years – in Spain, Switzerland,
Cyprus and France, where for ten years they had a Chalet in the French Alps. More
recently, they moved to Northern France and fell in love with the Seven Valleys (Sept
Vallees) region, which ‘The Sunday Times’ described as Northern France’s best kept
secret, with its Opal Coast, charming villages, and historic battlefields including
those of Agincourt, Crecy, and the First World War. Christine is a retired Physiotherapist;
and Ian is an International Lawyer, specialising in Sports Law.
Christine and Ian welcome you to their website and are delighted to tell you about
their charming Bed and Breakfast in their tastefully renovated farmhouse in the heart
of the beautiful 7 Valleys region of Northern France. Just one hour from the Channel
Tunnel and Ferry Ports and set in a quiet village, ten minutes from the delightful
and historic market town of Hesdin, with its ancient cobbled town hall square, Flemish
style town houses, restaurants, pavement cafes and shops.
We look forward to welcoming you for a relaxing weekend, short break or an overnight
stay on your way to or from other parts of France and discovering the delights of
the 7 Valleys region.
